Job summary

Icon Vehicle Dynamics is seeking an assembly technician to perform repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce shocks. The role involves placing parts in precise relationships, building a variety of shocks including IFP, Remote Reservoir, Piggyback, and multiple model variants, and tending equipment on the line.

The ideal candidate can read and follow safety rules and procedures, understands basic hand tools, and can stand for long periods while lifting up to 40 pounds as needed on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive assembly tasks, including lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Place parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Assemble shocks including IFP, Remote Reservoir, Piggyback Shock, 2.0 and 2.0 RR, CDC, 2.5 and 3.0 Bypass.
• Tends machines and tools such as arbor presses, spring compressor, hose saw and other equipment to perform assembly operations.
• Works at different work stations as production needs require.
• Works on line where tasks vary as different model moves along the line.
