Job summary

Liberty Pumps is seeking a Shipping Associate in a fast-paced warehouse setting. The role involves picking, packing, palletizing, labeling, and shipping outgoing freight to meet timelines and accuracy.

The associate will operate a forklift and pallet jack, maintain safety, and uphold ISO 9001 standards. Strong reading, basic math, and teamwork are essential; physical requirements include lifting up to 51 pounds and repetitive manual tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; computer experience preferred.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, or a warehousing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; basic math and reporting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve products from the specified lines per the order pick list.
• Palletize items to be prepared for shipment; may use tools such as a crimper.
• Double check orders by reviewing pick lists and items on pallets.
• Band pick list items to pallets.
• Prepare shipping documents for carrier per customer PO and shipping instructions.
• Email, fax, and call truck lines as needed for outbound shipments.
• Prepare shipments for UPS: create/print labels, weigh packages, complete related tasks.
• Operate forklift and hand pallet jack as necessary.
• Work in a team environment and participate in team meetings and projects.
• Operate according to ISO 9001 requirements; follow safety guidelines and keep area clean.
• May be subject to changes in duties as needed.
