Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a shipping/receiving role.
• Experience using inventory management software.
• Comfortable with computers and web interfaces.
• Forklift operation experience; certification is a plus.
• Strong physical ability and the capacity to work under pressure.
• Demonstrated autonomy, versatility, and resourcefulness.
• Ability to manage priorities and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and verify product accuracy, including quantity, quality, condition, and documentation.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including packing, labeling, and shipping documents.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other handling equipment.
• Enter data into the computer system (purchase orders, delivery slips, tracking numbers).
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the shipping and receiving area.
• Collaborate with carriers and other departments (production, purchasing, customer service).
• Report discrepancies, damages, or delays to the supervisor.
• Participate in inventory control and stock management.
