Job summary

Enpro is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to perform shipping, receiving, and inventory management in our Columbia, SC facility. You will prepare products for shipment, verify documents, and use ERP systems to track inventory and process orders.

The role requires 1-3 years' experience in related duties, ability to read work instructions, forklift certification, and strong attention to detail. You’ll coordinate with carriers, ensure compliance, and maintain a clean, safe workspace

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years’ experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or related roles.
Ability to read and understand shipping, packing, and work instructions.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems, customer portals, and shipping platforms.
Ability to obtain forklift certification through company‑provided training.
Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Prepare and package products for shipment in accordance with requirements.
Verify shipments and maintain accurate documentation.
Use ERP systems to track inventory and process shipments.
Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and freight companies.
Build and load shipping crates using proper packaging methods.
Process shipments and update records via customer portals and internal systems.
Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and generate CofCs and export forms.
Communicate with the Shipping and Receiving team and cross‑functional partners about order status.
Maintain a clean and organized shipping area following 5S standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
