Job summary

Guardian Protection Products in Hudson, NC is seeking a warehouse shipping associate responsible for ensuring shipping orders are accurate and labeled correctly. You will work in a busy cross-functional environment, operate forklift after training, and maintain safety standards.

You will audit orders, prepare paperwork with proper signatures, and communicate with warehouse staff and managers to keep processes on track. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.

• Exposure to pick and pack operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit order for accuracy
• Apply appropriate shipping labels to cases
• Ensure cartons are properly identified as Hazardous, ORM-D, Non-Hazardous and there are no conflicting markings on carton
• Submit complete and accurate paperwork in a timely manner obtaining proper signatures
• Communicate effectively and accurately with warehouse personnel, area leads, departmental managers and distribution manager
• Demonstrate professional customer service skills at all times
• Maintain clean and safe work environment using correct tools properly
