Job summary

Liberty Staffing is seeking an experienced Estimator for a precision sheet metal manufacturer in Mesa, AZ. You will determine project costs, timelines, and feasibility by collaborating with engineering, production, and vendors.

The role requires BOM-building, ERP experience (Global Shop preferred), and cost analysis skills. Direct hire / temp-to-hire with full-time schedule and weekly pay; benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in manufacturing or sheet metal environment.
• Strong understanding of BOM structures and costing.
• Experience using ERP systems (Global Shop preferred).
• Strong analytical and math skills.
• Knowledge of cost analysis, labor standards, and production processes.
• Familiarity with financial and project management principles (GAAP knowledge a plus).
• Proficient with ERP systems and estimating tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements, drawings, and specifications.
• Develop process routings and Bills of Materials (BOM) within ERP systems.
• Send RFQs to suppliers and outside processors.
• Analyze labor, materials, and production costs to build accurate estimates.
• Perform risk analysis and identify potential delays or cost impacts.
• Prepare and submit detailed quotes and bid packages.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Support planning efforts including scheduling and manpower forecasting.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
