Qualifications

• Experience estimating in precision sheet metal environments.
• Strong background in sheet metal and machining industries.
• Sales minded and able to operate in a team sales/manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop new processes to support KPIs with team members.
• Create standard work and training documents.
• Coordinate with Management & Production on orders with tight due dates.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your customer portfolio to improve margins.
• Communicate professionally with customers and suppliers.
• Review blueprints to determine operations, tools, materials, and quality standards.
• Estimate labor times and material usage to determine job cost.
• Request price quotes from suppliers as needed.
• Respond to quotes promptly within customer timeframes.
• Monitor repeat orders to prevent margin erosion.
• Prepare orders with complete information for processing.
• Handle customer change orders within 24 hours and document accordingly.
• Maintain ISO 9001 compliance in line with Quality Manual.
