Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience operating a machine required.
• Understanding of screen printing or offset processes and mechanical operation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Must be able to work schedule as needed.
• Familiarity with color matching, ink handling, and setup for specialty jobs.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced print shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor a printing machine in accordance with job specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent quality and efficiency throughout the run.
• Load substrates and manage ink levels and print alignment to meet production goals.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished work for quality standards including clarity, registration, and consistency.
• Record production information and report any mechanical or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with press assistants, quality control, and the production team to optimize workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
• All other duties as assigned.
