Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Saw Operator to retrieve, inspect, and cut products to customer specifications. You will operate the saw and ensure parts meet required tolerances in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires ability to read drawings, perform basic math in metric units, and lift up to 40 lbs. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred; safety and housekeeping are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend drawings and quantities.
• Strong math skills for two-digit numbers and operations with tens/hundreds.
• Ability to work with metric units.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates saw.
• Inspects and cuts parts for shipment per Operator instructions.
• Maintains records of production and quality issues as specified.
• Notifies supervisor of non-conforming product or problems with machine.
• Communicates saw issues with the next saw operator.
• Patches parts/scrap as needed.
• Keeps saw & yard area clean and neat.
• Occasional use of cleaning chemicals and power tools.
