Job summary

FOX Factory, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate an adjustable circular saw and perform rip, cross, bevel, and miter cuts on wood stock according to work orders.

Qualified applicants may have HS degree or equivalent; no experience is required, though 1+ year manufacturing experience is preferred. You must stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

• No experience required, but 1+ years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must have a track record of meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Picks sawing disk according to cut type and bolts it to the machine shaft.
• Turns handwheel to tilt the table to the specified angle or adjust the depth of cut.
• Positions guides on the table and tightens knobs to set guides in place.
• Starts the machine, places wood stock on the table against guides, and pushes stock against the saw.
• Measures cut stock with ruler or caliper to verify dimensions against specifications.
• Removes cut stock and maintains production count.
• May adjust machine guides, blade, and table for additional cuts.
