Job summary

FOX Factory is seeking a Sawmill Operator in Punxsutawney, PA to operate an adjustable circular saw, perform rip and cross cuts, bevels and other operations per work orders. You will set up guides, measure stock and maintain production counts in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a HS degree or equivalent and may prefer some manufacturing experience. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods; a safe, team-focused environment is provided.

Qualifications

• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches.
• Exposure to safety management.

Responsibilities

• Pick sawing disc according to type of cut specified on work order.
• Bolt disk to machine shaft and adjust settings with a wrench.
• Position guides and set angles to spec cuts.
• Operate machine and feed wood stock against guides to make cuts.
• Measure cut stock to verify dimensions.
• Maintain production count and adjust for additional cuts as needed.
