Job summary

stow Group in Adairsville, GA is seeking a Bracing Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain roll-forming machinery used to shape metal coils with tight tolerances. You will load materials, install roller dies, monitor production, perform first-off inspections, and uphold safety standards, including LOTO and PPE, while ensuring quality and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or roll-forming.
• Ability to read blueprints, SAP work orders, navigate MES system, and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain roll-forming machinery to shape metal coils.
• Install and align roller dies, adjust settings for thickness, speed, and shear.
• Run the line, monitor material feed, lubrication, and cut-to-length accuracy.
• Perform first-off inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Conduct daily preventive maintenance and troubleshoot jams or misalignment.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including LOTO and PPE usage.
