Job summary

Life at West Marine is seeking a Modular Selector to accurately pick and pack products according to modular specifications for store and online orders. You will follow safety and quality standards in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will use RF scanners to track product movement, assist with inventory counts, and communicate clearly with team members. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in receiving or warehouse preferred.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and picking systems advantageous.
• Attention to detail and accuracy essential.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory management software.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; physical stamina required.
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime as needed.
• Commitment to safety protocols in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols while handling shipments.
• Select products per modular instructions and pack for orders.
• Use RF scanner systems to track product movement and maintain order accuracy.
• Report shortages, damages, or mis-picks to supervisors or inventory control.
• Assist with general inventory audits or counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
