Job summary

Mercury Systems is looking for an Assembly Technician in Franklin, New Jersey. The role involves performing various assembly operations on RF and Microwave hybrid assemblies. Candidates should have basic electronics knowledge and soldering skills, as well as the ability to work under a microscope.

The position requires working in a flexible environment, following safety and ISO procedures. An HS diploma or equivalent is essential, with preference given to candidates familiar with IPC-A-610 standards.

Qualifications

• Typically requires one year of related experience.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 is preferred.
• Experience in gold wire and ribbon bonding is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations on RF and Microwave hybrid assemblies.
• Wire/Ribbon bonding sub-systems from drawings.
• Maintain logs and paperwork accurately.
• Monitor workmanship and adhere to safety requirements.

Skills

Basic knowledge of electronics

Basic soldering skills

Ability to recognize non-conformities

Ability to multi-task

Knowledge of industry standard ESD practices

Ability to work under a microscope

Ability to work OT as needed
