Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a Quality Technician in Phoenix to perform mechanical testing and ensure compliance with industry and Hydro standards. You will prepare specimens, conduct tensile, yield, elongation, bend and crush tests, and document results with integrity.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and preferably experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with strong math, problem solving and computer skills. Training on lab procedures and safety is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in fast-paced, manufacturing environment is desired.
• Experience in quality testing and inspection procedures.
• Good math skills, problem solving and computer skills.
• Able to follow lab and company quality/safety documentation.
• Able to operate test and inspection equipment including Band Saw and CNC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test specimens to industry and Hydro standards.
• Perform mechanical testing including Tensile, Yield & Elongation and bend/crush testing.
• Perform Safe Launch on assigned part numbers per process instructions.
• Maintain ethical and compliant behavior in testing and records.
• Other duties as assigned by Quality Manager or Lead / Sr. Metrologist.
