Job summary

Ceres Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician to perform dimensional, visual, electrical, and mechanical inspections on a variety of parts. You will work with the Manufacturing team, reporting to the QC Final Test Manager, focusing on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in a quality/tech role, knowledge of ISO standards, and strong Excel skills. This on-site role in Saugerties, NY is a 6-month temp-to-perm position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a technician in quality, manufacturing, test, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with ISO standards.
• Basic understanding of geometry, trig, ratios, fractions, and proportions.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication across production, engineering, and safety.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and process-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, visual, electrical, and mechanical inspections per procedures.
• Submit NCRs for non-conformities and report defects in quality databases.
• Conduct incoming and in-process inspections, including local source checks.
• Assist calibration activities, including torque wrench calibration, with QA engineers.
• Interface with production, engineering, and stock personnel on inspection results.
• Maintain and manage test data for customer acceptance testing where applicable.
