Job summary

Allegheny Bradford Corporation, Lewis Run, PA, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our precision-focused team on 1st shift. You’ll inspect, document, and support quality across production, emphasizing compliance and continuous improvement. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (2+ years)
• Use of proper PPE as safety is a top priority
• Strong math, measurement, and blueprint reading skills
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read technical procedures, work instructions, and regulatory documentation
• Ability to work independently as well as cross functionally
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. with frequent standing, walking, reaching and use of fine motor skills
• Strong commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Performing in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and customer expectations
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Document inspection results, test data, and product disposition
• Support internal audits, corrective/preventive actions
• Provide technical support to production teams regarding product quality
• Obtain VTII Certification-training provided
• Participate in First Article Inspections and recommend process improvements
• Perform quality evaluations — including surface finish, borescope inspections, and regulatory code compliance (ASME/BPE, 3A, PED, MOM)
