Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Quality Receiving Inspector to ensure materials from vendors meet requirements. You will inspect against drawings and data sheets, record results, and communicate non-conforming material. The role requires reading diagrams, using inspection equipment, and maintaining data in ERP systems.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of related experience and be proficient with MS Office, especially Excel. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years related experience.
• Experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to use standard inspection, measurement and test equipment.
• Must be able to read and understand diagrams, drawings and detailed instructions.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills required.
• Experience working with an ERP preferred (Oracle preferred).
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
• Examines for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
• Accurately reads and interprets specifications.
• Inspects purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and other materials for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment and functional operation.
• Inspects and measures items for conformance according to drawings, product data sheets, industry standards, and other specifications using precision measuring instruments and devices.
• Approves or rejects items, and accurately records inspection and disposition information.
• Records data on manual or computerized systems.
• Informs management regarding non-conforming materials or products.
• May inspect outgoing and production line parts and materials.
• May perform manufacturing audits against control plans to validate conformance to process requirements.
• Complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
