Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ISO or quality-related certifications are a plus.
• Reading blueprints, specifications and inspection documentation is required.
• Prior quality inspection in manufacturing preferred, especially for medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision inspections on medical device components and finished products.
• Verify dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, comparators, and vision systems.
• Inspect products for cosmetic and dimensional defects to ensure specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify nonconforming products and report quality concerns.
• Follow quality procedures, work instructions and safety standards.
• Use inspection tools and equipment to support production quality objectives.
• Support quality initiatives and special inspection projects.
