Job summary

Hire Sync is seeking a Quality Inspector for a precision manufacturing company in Avon, OH. The role focuses on performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet drawings and specifications.

You will document results and help maintain quality records. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, can read blueprints, and possess basic shop math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience using calipers is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured parts and materials.
• Inspect products for compliance with drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards.
• Perform detailed dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges and thread gauges.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection plans, and quality documentation.
• Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming materials or products.
• Support non-conforming material processes (tagging, line checks, stock purges, disposition).
• Collaborate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to address quality concerns.
• Enter inspection data into internal tracking systems and support QC activities.
