Professional Placement Services in Willoughby, Ohio, invites you to join as an Inspection Technician. You will conduct precision inspections, read blueprints, and ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards to support our manufacturing processes.

You will analyze inspection data, use Keyence Vision, Hexagon CMM, and Sunnen bore gages, document results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and improve quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
• Experience with precision inspection instruments.
• Familiarity with QA/QC methodologies and quality systems.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections with calipers and micrometers to assess product specifications.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and improvement areas in QMS.
• Use CMM and vision inspection systems to verify measurements and product integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions from audits.
• Maintain records of inspections and QA activities per ISO 9001.
• Assist in developing and refining QC procedures to boost efficiency.
