Job summary

The LEGO Group in United States, Virginia, is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure the quality and safety of injection-molded toy elements. You will perform a broad range of inspections using CMMs, CT scanners, and reference standards to verify conformance to specifications.

Starting pay is $29.70 per hour. The role includes a 2-2-3 day or night schedule with a 10% shift differential on permanent shifts; temporary hours may apply through year-end.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and consistency in inspections.
• Basic math and measurement skills in metric/imperial units.
• Follow work instructions and quality standards with or without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication; basic computer skills for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, functional, dimensional, color, surface-finish, and product-safety inspections against specifications.
• Operate precision inspection equipment including CMMs, CT scanners, height gauges, calipers, and color-measurement tools.
• Interpret drawings, tolerances, and GD&T to determine conformance.
• Record results in SAP or spreadsheets and raise non-conformances when needed.
• Stop production for critical quality or safety concerns and notify teams.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve issues.
