Job summary

Impact Electronic Solutions, Inc. in Grants Pass, OR is seeking a detail‑oriented QA Inspector to perform in‑process and final testing and inspection. You will verify product conformance to customer and ESAM specifications and identify any nonconformities before shipment.

The role requires reading drawings, interpreting engineering specs, and using micrometers, measuring scales, multimeters and hand tools. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Understand QA criteria, customer drawings, and ESAM documents.
• Test completed assemblies and identify failures.
• Familiar with QA tools including continuity tests and volt/ohm/meter instruments, micrometer, measuring scale and hand tools.
• Identify nonconformities prior to shipment.
• Able to distinguish colors and read small print and rulers.
• Read and interpret drawings, engineering specs, and BOM.
• Familiar with the Quality Assurance Manual.
• Exhibit excellent manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Stand or sit for eight hours or more per day; lift 25 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to work overtime and weekends; perform special assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final test and inspection of manufactured products.
• Verify conformance to customer and ESAM specifications.
• Identify and document any nonconformities prior to shipment.
• Maintain FOD-free department area and follow safety policies.
• Assist with department efficiencies and reporting to management.
