Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have experience inspecting products using quality plans and metrology techniques.
• Able to read and interpret drawings and understand defect types, sorting, and lot control.

Responsibilities

• Operate measuring instruments and equipment for inspection of product.
• Understand calibration/verification of measuring instruments.
• Verify conformance of product per quality plans using visual inspection, microscopes, micrometers, and automated measuring instruments.
• Understand the fundamentals of the quality management system.
• Read and interpret drawings; recognize defect types, sorting, and lot control procedures.
• Perform work per traveler and work instructions.
• Handle end-of-shift duties, end-of-job procedures and housekeeping.
• Follow safety policies including PPE and hazardous procedures.
