Sorenson Engineering in Yucaipa, CA, seeks a detail-oriented inspector to ensure product conformance with quality plans. You will operate measuring instruments and interpret drawings to verify specifications.
You will support a safety-conscious, collaborative shop, perform end-of-shift duties, and help maintain metrology programs. Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required; a high school diploma or GED with machining training is acceptable.

Sorenson Engineering is seeking candidates with experience inspecting products using quality plans and various metrologies including, concentricity gauges, drop gauges, pin gauges, OGP, Keyence, and VICI devices.
Responsibilities
Knowledge and Abilities: Interprets instructions both written and oral. Works in a team environment to resolve work issues. Knowledge of basic shop math. Communicates effectively in English.
Education and Experience: Minimum High School Diploma or GED with a technical education such as a machining school. Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred but not necessary.
Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally exert push force up to 50 pounds, must have good eyesight and hand dexterity, and able to identify and distinguish colors.
Work Environment: Within safety guidelines, there will be exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, oils/solvents, fumes, and odors that may affect the eyes, ears, nose, throat and/or skin.
Compensation Disclosure In accordance with California law, the salary range for this position reflects a good faith estimate of the base compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
