TRAK TECOM Corporation in Tampa, FL seeks an Electronics Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections on complex defense/electronics assemblies. The role supports quality, traceability, and compliance across radar, EW, and aerospace programs.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of inspection experience, familiarity with FAI (AS9102), IPC/J-STD, and Mil-Spec methods, plus strong reading of schematics and good teamwork. Citizenship required for security clearance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years electronics inspection experience in the defense industry preferred.
• Solid understanding of IPC, J-STD, and Mil-Spec inspection methods.
• Ability to interpret schematics and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Accurately and thoroughly inspect electronic assemblies through in-process and final inspection.
• Address priorities under time constraints.
• Complete and ensure inspection documents are kept current.
• Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102.
• Conduct conventional inspection to engineering requirements using height gauges, calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and standard inspection methods.
• Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines/procedures to perform the functions of the job.
• Complies with and ensures department compliance with Company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Complies with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.
• Support positive corrective actions and identification of root cause.
• Perform and complete internal containment activity of identified non-conformances.
