Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions is seeking a QC Inspection Tech in Quakertown, PA. The role covers visual and dimensional inspections of high-value, tightly-toleranced parts and assemblies, requiring close collaboration with engineers and QA to ensure conformance to specifications.

You will read blueprints, setup CMM procedures, and maintain inspection records while contributing to a safe, efficient production environment with ongoing learning and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HS Diploma with some technical education preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in inspection, preferably in a metal working and machining environment.
• CMM experience preferred; knowledge of programming a CMM is a major plus.
• ISO experience/knowledge is preferred.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve quality.
• Details oriented and meticulous.
• Capable of organizing, prioritizing, and multi-tasking.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings; understanding GD&T.
• Proficient in measurement tool usage (micrometer, caliper, comparator, height gauge, etc.).
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, E-mail).
• Safety and Security awareness and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conducts visual inspections and dimensional checks on high value, tightly toleranced parts.
• Performs first-run, floor and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Inspects raw materials for suitability for machining.
• Works with engineers to setup CMM inspection instructions for new parts.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and specifications.
• Maintains required records and prepares paperwork relating to inspection.
• Writes and updates inspection methods for QA approval.
• Maintains measuring equipment and inspection fixtures.
