Job summary

Brinkman Products, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector in Rochester, NY. You will perform in-process and final inspections, using CMM to ensure parts meet precise specifications. Interpret drawings and GD&T, and participate in ISO 9001 audits.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with technical certification or an Associate degree and experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measurement tools. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify conformance to specifications.
• Use Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precise measurements and inspections.
• Create, edit and maintain CMM programs.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints and GD&T.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and participate in audits.
• Document inspection results and address non-conformances.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and processes.
