Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Quality Inspector in Orange, CT for a contract role. The candidate will perform in-process and final inspections, reading blueprints, and using calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and workmanship.

The position emphasizes timely inspection flow to meet customer deliveries and processing deadlines. The role requires a high school diploma and 2–4 years of inspection experience, with abilities to review certifications, organize QA data in ERP, and issue DMR/NCMR

Qualifications

High school diploma required with 2–4 years of inspection experience.
Proficiency with calipers and micrometers.
Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspections against blueprint specs using calipers, micrometers, and visual systems.
Maintain a steady flow of parts through the inspection department to meet delivery deadlines.
Review certification packages and organize QA data in the server, releasing approved products for shipment in the ERP system.
Inspect incoming materials and review material certifications; issue DMR or NCMR as needed in the ERP system.
Collaborate with Lead Inspector and Department Manager to resolve quality concerns and ensure site compliance.
