Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards in Pascagoula, MS is seeking an Accuracy Control Technician to perform in-process and final surveys of manufactured products to ensure compliance with ABS and USCG requirements and owner specifications.

You will read blueprints, operate inspection equipment, document survey results, and coordinate accuracy inspections with production teams to improve overall quality and safety across all shipbuilding phases.

Responsibilities

• Surveys parts and processes to verify conformance with standards.
• Conducts final surveys to verify dimensions, strengths and quality factors.
• Completes in-process and final survey records and reports.
• Sets up surveys by ABS and USCG based on rules and regulations.
• Ensure that survey procedures are followed during every production phase.
• Create comprehensive documentation for accuracy issues and note corrective actions taken.
• Educate production teams on accuracy control issues and work with managers to improve safety and product quality.
• Create process checklists and coordinate accuracy inspections with department managers.
