Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support manufacturing operations by performing first-piece, in-process, and final inspections. This role verifies product quality, identifies nonconformances, maintains documentation, and collaborates with production teams to ensure components meet customer specifications and quality standards.

The position offers a stable direct-hire opportunity with a 4-day workweek and hourly pay between $28 and $35, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• CMM experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
• Inspect components and finished products using precision measuring equipment.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and geometric requirements using GD&T principles.
• Utilize tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, test equipment, and CMM.
• Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns and nonconforming materials.
• Maintain inspection reports, measurement records, testing documentation, and corrective action records.
• Support production teams in investigating and resolving quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
