MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Quality Inspector for our Farmington Hills, Michigan manufacturing facility. In this role, you will inspect in-process and finished products, document inspection results, and help resolve quality issues to ensure products meet established specifications and standards.

This on-site position offers a 2nd/3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 PM–3:00 AM) with a base pay of $21.00/hour plus a $1.00/hour off-shift premium.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret detailed work instructions and product specifications.
• Strong attention to detail to identify defects and deviations.
• Basic knowledge of QC tools and measuring instruments.
• Basic math skills for working with dimensions and tolerances.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Verbal and written communication to document results.
• Ability to collaborate with team to resolve issues.

Responsabilités

• Inspect in-process and finished products against specs and work instructions.
• Perform visual, mechanical, and functional inspections with measuring tools.
• Record results and enter data into quality management systems.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with inspectors and production staff to resolve issues.
• Develop and update inspection procedures and checklists.
• Perform internal audits and maintain quality documentation.
• Support continuous improvement while following safety and 5S principles.
