Job summary

WKW Group – Quality Auditor is needed for 1st shift at the Main Plant in Pell City, AL. The role conducts dimensional, mechanical, and visual inspections across multiple processes to ensure product conformance with customer requirements and engineering specs.

Responsibilities include recording results in quality systems, using precision gauges and GD&T, and performing containment of nonconforming material. Strong Excel/Access skills and 5S compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality inspection experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Familiar with gauge fixtures and precision measuring equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe Acrobat PDF.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and dock audits.
• Record inspection results and quality data in databases (Excel, Access, Babtec, etc.).
• Monitor proper segregation and identification of nonconforming material.
• Perform containment activities for nonconforming materials.
• Maintain 5S standards in the quality department and inspection areas.
• Support Quality Manager in maintaining high quality standards.
