Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Quality Technician to support product quality by inspecting materials, parts and finished products to ensure they meet specifications. You will document results, communicate findings, and work with production to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in inspections, testing, or quality-related work in manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze inspection data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect parts/materials to ensure compliance with quality requirements, dimensional tolerances, finish specifications and other standards.
• Use gauges, measuring instruments, templates, and other inspection equipment to perform tests and measurements.
• Inspect incoming products/materials for compliance prior to acceptance and report results.
• Document and communicate inspection results; identify corrective actions with Operators and Leads.
• Review returned goods with quality failures and assist in determining corrective actions.
• Physically handle and move parts (up to ~35 pounds) and use lifting assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with Plant Management, Shift Leads, production personnel, and Corporate Quality to resolve quality issues.
