Job summary

Agru America, Inc. in Georgetown, SC seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to examine, measure, and test the quality of plastics products. You will record measurements in our database, label and package archived samples, and report deficiencies promptly to supervision.

The role requires basic math, unit conversion, and strong communication in English. You will lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk on various surfaces, and work in a non-controlled environment while supporting a safe, efficient

Qualifications

• Must have high attention to detail.
• Excellent time management abilities.
• Basic math and unit conversion skills.
• Proficient with computers.
• Written and verbal English communication.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Prefer at least 1 year of quality testing experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Able to work in a non-controlled environment.
• Must be able to operate in a safe, team-driven setting.

Responsibilities

• Examines, measures, and tests the quality of products in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Utilize database to record measurements
• Label/package archived product or marketing samples
• If deficiencies found in products notification to supervisor or manager to be done in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Any other duties that the Company assigns as needed.
