Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support inspections, testing, documentation, and quality improvement in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to help ensure products meet company and customer requirements.

In this role you will inspect materials and assemblies, interpret GD&T tolerances, maintain records, support corrective actions, and help train team members on inspection procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hands-on QC role in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerances (GD&T).
• Proficiency with measurement tools and maintaining records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and inspect incoming raw-material samples; report results.
• Perform in-process, batching, and finished-goods testing.
• Inspect products visually and dimensionally; verify labels and tolerances.
• Use measurement tools and interpret drawings, including GD&T tolerances.
• Inspect electromechanical assemblies per IPC/WHMA-A-620.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and calibration status.
• Document findings and nonconformances; assist in corrective actions.
• Monitor production operations and suggest quality improvements.
• Create/update work instructions and SOPs; take photos of assembly details.
• Support production builds and train team members on inspection procedures.
• Analyze quality trends using SPC and Pareto charts.
