Job summary

Carterra is seeking a Quality Technician to support testing and release of multiple products, including fluidic subassemblies and chemical coatings. Under supervision, you will use complex test equipment and standard methods to ensure quality.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and scientist teams to meet production goals. The role requires attention to detail, ability to conduct chemical experiments, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to set up and conduct chemical experiments using instruments and standard lab techniques.
• Prepare chemical solutions for QC tests.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, equipment, and processes quickly.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Office.
• Independently maintain testing records and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming parts from suppliers using calipers, micrometers, and similar tools.
• Inspect manufactured parts in accordance with work instructions using proprietary tools or fixtures.
• Document test results following GMP requirements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement and other departments to support production goals.
• Read and interpret technical documents including safety data sheets, prints, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals with appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including general labor as needed.
