Job summary

Personnel Resources, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician in Georgia to ensure all parts and assemblies meet specifications. You will inspect materials, take precise measurements, read blueprints, and document defects to prevent defective products from reaching customers.

Ideal candidates are dependable, organized, and able to work closely with a production team, using tape measures, calipers, and basic measuring tools with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with calipers and common hand tools.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with production team members.
• Electrical and/or mechanical experience (preferred).
• Experience in quality control, inspection, or a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Experience using micrometers, gauges, or other precision measuring instruments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products against blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Take accurate measurements using tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Identify, document, and report defects, nonconformances, and dimensional errors.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists, and quality logs.
• Work with production staff and supervisors to resolve quality issues and help prevent recurring problems.
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical checks on components and assemblies.
• Keep inspection areas and tools clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
