Job summary

Orchid MPS Holdings, LLC in Arab, Alabama is hiring a QC Inspector to perform receiving, in-process, final, and lab certification testing. You will apply GD&T principles, verify certifications, and document results with precision, using micrometers, calipers, and gaging blocks.

No prior experience required, but attention to detail is essential. This on-site role supports manufacturing quality with a focus on conformance to customer specifications and Orchid requirements, including DHR reviews

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in quality inspection and lean manufacturing preferred.
• Technical trade schooling and ASQ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, final, and lab certification testing.
• Identify nonconforming material and issue NCMRs/Redtags.
• Complete inspections and review DHRs per Orchid requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation during manufacturing and inspection.
• Inspect laser patterns and verify certifications.
• Use hand tools and CMM-related reports for measurements.
• Inspect customer-returned parts and perform first article inspections.
