Job summary

Sysco Guest Supply, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Technician to conduct physical evaluations of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products, ensuring GMP compliance and accurate recordkeeping.

You will participate in validation studies, assist in developing standards and SOPs, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced facility in Sayreville, NJ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous quality control experience preferred.
• Certified Quality Technician preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to operate computerized equipment and maintain records.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical evaluations of incoming raw materials, manufacturing components, batch formulations, and finished products against QC specifications and GMP requirements.
• Inspects the products being produced and assembled in each area of operations, and the Manufacturing area itself for GMP compliance.
• Analyzes test results against established specifications.
• Completes all paperwork and records necessary for all aspects of the job.
• Assists in the creation and development of product standards, testing methods, and standard operating procedures.
• Keeps a clean and safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
