Job summary

Sysco Guest Supply, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform physical evaluations of incoming raw materials, components, batch formulations, and finished products against QC specifications and GMP requirements.

The role involves inspecting products across production areas, analyzing test results, completing documentation, and assisting in developing standards and SOPs while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous quality control experience preferred.
• Certified Quality Technician preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work alone and with other people.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Good PC computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Good math skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Self-directed requiring limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical evaluations of incoming raw materials, manufacturing components, batch formulations, and finished products against QC specifications and GMP requirements.
• Inspects the products being produced and assembled in each area of operations, and the Manufacturing area itself for GMP compliance.
• Analyzes test results against established specifications.
• Completes all paperwork and records necessary for all aspects of the job.
• Assists in the creation and development of product standards, testing methods, and standard operating procedures.
• Keeps a clean and safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
