Teledyne FLIR Defense in Bozeman, MT is seeking a QC Inspector to join the Quality Department. The role focuses on visual inspection of finished parts, verification against specifications, and generation of documentation using calibrated measuring equipment.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of in-process and final inspection experience in defense, automotive, or aerospace environments; strong measuring tool skills; and clear written and verbal communication.

Qualificações

• 2+ years in-process and final inspection in defense/aerospace preferred.
• Proficient in using basic measuring tools (micrometer, caliper, weight gauge, gage blocks, thread gauges, torque drivers).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOMs and related instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with limited supervision.
• Detail-oriented with careful documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect finished good parts for compliance to specification.
• Review Bill of Materials for completeness and accuracy including accessories and spare parts sales orders.
• Review completeness of packing lists.
• Sign-off ATP reports.
• Collect data for Final Inspection Reports (FIRs).
• Complete Discrepant Material Reports (DMR) for rejected parts.
• Verify product identification and traceability.
• Generate Certificate of Compliance.
