Job summary

ARCH Global Precision is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform first-piece, in-process and final inspections ensuring parts meet specifications. The role requires strong CMM knowledge, reading blueprints, and meticulous attention to detail.

The position is based in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement and teamwork. Overtime on Saturdays may be required, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with measurement tools (micrometer, caliper, comparator, height gauge, etc.).
• Understanding of mechanical drawing, dimensioning, and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Detail oriented and meticulous.

Responsibilities

• Performs first-piece, in-process and final inspections and dimensional checks on high value, complex and tightly tolerance machined parts and assemblies.
• Inspects raw materials for suitability for machining.
• Works with engineers and programmers to setup CMM inspection instructions for new parts.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and specifications.
• Determines proper disposition of rejected material with QA Manager.
• Maintains required records and prepares paperwork relating to inspection.
• Writes and updates inspection methods for approval by QA Manager or lead inspector.
