Job summary
Hydro Extrusions USA, LLC in Sidney, OH is seeking a Quality Inspector to read and interpret engineering drawings, and inspect parts to blueprint specifications to ensure Hydro Extrusion standards and customer requirements are met.
You will use calipers, micrometers, CMMs, surface plates and other measuring devices, complete data sheets and SPC charts, and participate in in-process and final inspections to uphold our commitment to quality.
Qualifications
- Read and interpret Hydro Extrusion engineering drawings, specifications and standards.
- Complete data sheets, SPC charts and related documents.
- Perform receiving and extrusion inspections to assure conformance to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, specs, and standards.
- Use measurement tools to check dimensions to blueprint specifications.
- Complete forms and ensure documents are filed per Quality Manual.
- Perform receiving, gauge calibration, first piece layouts and floor inspections.
- Halt production if quality does not meet Hydro Extrusion requirements.
