Job summary

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Testing Inspector to join our Manufacturing Team in Phoenix. This role conducts inspections, tests, and audits to ensure products meet customer specifications and company standards.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, use calipers and gauges accurately, document results, support traceability, and help drive continuous improvement while following safety policies.

Qualifications

Manufacturing quality inspection experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and inspection procedures.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Inspect in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, gauges, scales, and other inspection equipment.
Monitor production processes and communicate required adjustments or corrective actions when non-conforming product is identified.
Work closely with machinists and production personnel to maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Document inspection results, test data, and quality records accurately.
Support lot traceability and maintain inspection documentation.
Verify calibration and proper use of inspection equipment.
Assist with audits, quality procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure machinery and equipment are properly set up and operating within quality requirements.
Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, and safety hazards.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing guidelines.
