Job summary

AGM Container Controls, Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to inspect, test, and ensure product compliance with precise GD&T requirements.

You will read drawings, verify certifications, conduct tests, record results, and support a range of inspection techniques while collaborating with customers and government inspectors. On-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two years of relevant work experience required.
• Associate Degree preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and knowledge of quality assurance procedures.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting documents, and writing reports.
• Mathematical aptitude for calculations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience with CMM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets drawings and specifications for part inspection.
• Verifies process and material certifications on incoming products.
• Selects products for tests and conducts dimensions, performance, and mechanical tests.
• Performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials and products.
• Records data and writes reports to accept or reject parts per procedures.
• Identifies and resolves quality issues with equipment or procedures.
• Completes paperwork and assigns tasks accurately and quickly.
• Maintains high computer usage for QA tasks.
• Ensures adherence to Quality Management System procedures.
