Job summary

Interface, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined products.

You will verify documentation, use micrometers, calipers, CMM and vision systems, and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Minimum 2 years in manufacturing QC, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with MS Excel/Word are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality control or production inspection.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and instructions.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Collaborative team player with good verbal and written communication.
• Experience with MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Dimensional and visual inspection of product for conformance to documented requirements.
• Verify documentation such as mill certs and routing sheets for completeness and accuracy.
• Write non-conforming material reports for defective products.
• Use inspection tools and measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, CMM, etc.).
• Document inspection results and maintain meticulous records.
• Perform First Article, In-process, and Final inspections of critical operations.
• Calibrate measuring equipment and schedule external calibration services when needed.
• Collaborate with production and shipping to resolve quality issues and meet deadlines.
