Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in Allentown, NJ to review products and materials during manufacturing and ensure they meet company standards. You will work with Manufacturing Supervisors to enforce standards, develop SOPs, and recommend improvements.

Key tasks include in-process inspections, blueprint interpretation, and root-cause investigations, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing and quality assurance.
• Experience with ISO:9001 QMS.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and SOPs.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, squares, protractor and tapes.
• Proficient computer and math skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Walks manufacturing floors and inspects parts in process.
• Measure physical parts against drawings to ensure specifications.
• Performs visual quality audits.
• Inspects inbound electrical and mechanical material, in-process assemblies, and final product.
• Accepts/rejects finished products and discusses results with Production teams.
• Assist with customer concerns related to in-house manufactured items and failures.
• Conduct root cause and corrective action investigations.
• Attend bi-monthly In-house Rejections meetings.
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards including company policies.
• Perform assignments in a safe, productive manner with high quality.
• Adhere to standardized work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and maintain equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
