Job summary

Smalley, a global leader in precision metal formed products, is seeking dedicated operators to join our Illinois facility. You will operate multiple machine tools, perform quality checks on retaining rings and wave springs, and collaborate across departments to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Pass required exam of basic math and English.

Responsibilities

• Operates the automatic index cut machine, airshear, Epic III Scale, deburring wheel, belt sander, and punch press machine
• Demonstrates the ability to perform heat sampling
• Inspects retaining rings and wave springs according to specifications and drawings, utilizing various measuring tools
• Works closely with the Punch Press Set Up Operators regarding any machine issues, troubleshooting, etc.
• Participates in cross departmental work production based on business needs
