Job summary

Gibraltar in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Press Operator for the 7am–3pm shift. You will load coils, set up and operate the press, and ensure quality while following safety practices. You will also assist with packing, labeling, and moving finished goods.

The role requires basic arithmetic, reliable attendance, and ability to read specifications and production orders. The company offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to use ordinary arithmetic in decimals and fractions, read specs and measurements.
• Judgment to plan, perform and sequence setup and operations.
• Good attendance and performance record.

Responsibilities

• Load aluminum/steel coils onto vertical payoff and manually tighten payoff.
• Visually assist forklift driver to load coils onto horizontal payoff.
• String up the press using job safe practices.
• Work from production work orders to form and pack products.
• Seal cartons using hand tools and equipment.
• Move finished cartons to pallets and wrap with stretch wrap.
• Resupply work area with new pallets and check quality during handling.
• Lubricate machines and dispose of scrap per instructions.
• Maintain a safe, orderly work area and complete required paperwork.
